Welcome to Spello and the Green Heart of Italy
Enchanted Spello is a unique apartment inside the historic Medieval walls of the Umbrian town of Spello.

After the ancient Umbri founded this enclave in 41 BC, the Romans arrived, naming the town Julia Hispellum. After the fall of the Roman Empire, and the turbulent years of the Middle Ages, the town became an independent commune in the 12th century.

You'll find a mix of Roman and Medieval architecture, preserved walls and gates, ancient stone houses and a rich cultural and art history. With a regional train station .7 miles from the town center, and .9 miles from the apartment, Spello is the perfect home base to explore the area wineries, regional hill towns of Umbria and Tuscany, hike the ancient Romen aqueduct and myriad of trails through the surrounding olive groves.

Purchasing a property in Italy was the dream of 3 friends who travel the world together, Kirah, Dana and Denise. Kirah, an artist and art historian, was familiar with Spello and Umbria, having studied art and leading custom travel-art workshops throughout her career.
Welcome to our Italy home and to the city of flowers and art!
